We all have a story, something that we’ve experienced that we had to dig deep, real deep just to make it to the other side again. Each and every human being has experienced some sort of hardship at some point that had you on your knees, begging for the end of it to come. And I know you might be reflecting back now, remembering a moment just like that, in your life, part of your story. Do you remember when it stopped? Do you remember when it ended specifically? Are you still the same person?
So often we ask for change, sometimes wish for it even set a goal and work really hard towards it. Sometimes we long for things to be different or even to go back if it will help. The challenge with change is that things will need to change … I know it sounds pretty obvious and at face value, it is. The change will first feel uncomfortable, sometimes even quite painful and also very necessary. It’s in those difficult times that we dig deep, we seem to find ways that we couldn’t see before. This is where the strength lies, this is when growth happens…but it’s silent.
Now, looking back at those experiences, some way back in the distance, some very fresh in our minds, we look back and realize… we changed because of it. We can’t be the same as before because of it, it changed us forever. Did it change you for the better? Well, that will be up to you…
The voids though, they create the value. “The voids create the value” – This is one of my favorite statements, but most of the time it doesn’t really explain the depth of the meaning and the potential impact it could make if totally understood. Without challenges, would we grow? Without pain would you truly know what joy means? Without sadness and loss, what would appreciation and love mean to us? Without fear how would we know to self-preserve?
Masculine energy is about action and movement. Feminine energy is about receiving, nurturing, and resting. Both are very important for overall wellbeing and balance. Some days you need to rest, nurture and self-preserve for those days where you can stand in your power and conquer the world…again!
Alpha and the Omega, Yin and Yan … TWO sides that make ONE whole. Asking for change will bring change, stay focused on who you want to become as you go through the process and remember that destruction usually gets all our attention, and growth is silent …
